“éclair” – Anthology shows many flavors of Girls’ Love Faith Orcino June 22, 2018 Articles, Manga, Reviews Yen Press recently released their translation of the 2016 “éclair” Yuri anthology in June. It featured the works of 19 creators with most contributing a story. Each of the chapters focused on a unique relationship and how they developed. While most were heartwarming, there were some with a bittersweet taste. The mangakas showed in their own clean art style and writing that love takes many forms. Yen Press gave the manga an “Older Teen” due to some scenes of sexual content. This was the first installment of Japanese publisher ASCII Media Works’s anthology series and hopefully Yen will bring the other books filled with more art and artists. For those interested in finding more work of the submission creators, here’s a list of those already published in English: Cover artist and story creator Nio Nakatani – “Bloom Into You” // Review Illustrator Yutaka Hiiragi – “The Manga Guide to the Universe” Illustrator Sunao Minakata – “Akuma no Riddle” // Anime Story creator Canno – “Kiss and White Lily for My Dearest Girl” // Review Story creator Uta Isaki – “Generator WITCH” // Review Story creator Sakuya Amano – “Konohana Kitan” // Anime Story creator Mekimeki – “Fantasista Doll” (Anime) Visit Yen Press’s website for more information on “éclair”.
