Illustrator Noriyoshi Ohrai Passes Away

Japanese illustrator Noriyoshi Ohrai passed away yesterday at the age of 79. He is most known for his posters used for the original Star Wars trilogy in Japan. Ohrai has dabbled in many series of games and movies, most notable are his poster arts for the Godzilla series, The Road Warrior, and Good Morning Vietnam. Having been working on the series since the beginning, his most recent art has been used in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. He was a very private person with very little information about his personal life made public. His classical rendering technique has been seen around the world leaving the world a little less colourful with his passing.
