Funimation announced last month that not only would beloved shojo series FRUITS BASKET would be getting a reboot, but they also had the licensing rights and would be streaming the new series in 2019!

This morning, Funimation released the first look at the new FRUITS BASKET by airing a short teaser trailer that can be seen below:

The animation is crisp, clean and glowing.  Fans have expressed their excitement for the reboot, proclaiming that it is a staple in any anime watchers life. Others have communicated their concerns over certain problematic themes and characters that may not be suitable for this generation. We will be sharing our own thoughts and opinions very soon so look forward to that!
