Last year we brought you the announcement of legendary monster Godzilla’s return to Netflix in the anime series “Godzilla Singular Point”. Fans no longer have to wait for its global premiere on June 24th.

“Brought together by a mysterious song, a grad student and an engineer lead the fight against an unimaginable force that may spell doom for the world… Godzilla Singular Point is an original anime series featuring character designs by Blue Exorcist’s Kazue Kato and a new Godzilla design from legendary Ghibli animator Eiji Yamamori.”

Along with Kato and Yamamori, several other veterans of the anime industry worked on this 13-episode story including Director Atsushi Takahashi (“Doraemon the Movie 2017”) and anime studios bones (“My Hero Academia”) and Orange (“Beastars”). Sci-fi author Toh EnJoe (“Self-Reference ENGINE”) made his television debut as the series’ editor and writer.

Head over to Netflix to embark on this new journey about the iconic kaiju.
