Viz Media Brings the Punches to Anime Expo Charlotte Arielle July 10, 2016 Articles, Conventions, Events Last year, powerhouse Viz Media announced that they had acquired the rights to the smash hit, One Punch Man, both in anime and manga counterpart. This year, not only is Viz celebrating it’s 30th year, but they rolled out more One Punch news by introducing the main English Dub voice cast. The actors were introduced along with cosplayers dressed as the respected character. The hosts also announced a special autograph session the following day along with the English cast and a new app where fans can watch Viz Media licensed anime on the go. The English cast announced is as follows: Saitama – Max Mittelman Genos – Zachary Aguilar Speed o’ Sound Sonic – Erik Kimerer Mumen (Licensless) Rider – Robbie Daymond After the announcements, the hosts and cast held a trivia contest for the fans in which the winners would get tickets to the Anisong World Matsuri featuring JAM Project, the band behind One Punch Man’s intense opening as well as a Q & A session.
